R&W become the latest organisation to deploy the zero telerance message



Safer Highways member become the latest industry leader to deploy Stamp it Out signage on worksite.


Safer Highways member R&W Civil Engineering, a part of Octavius Infrastructure, have become the latest contractor to adopt the Stamp it Out zero tolerance of roadworker abuse signage across their sites.


The signs, developed as part of the industry led Stamp it Out campaign have been designed by Nuneaton Signs as a part of the industry's campaign to not only illustrate to our workforce that, as employers, we do not tolerate abuse but also to provide a visual deterrent to road users that as an industry we truly embody an ethos that protection of our people is our number one priority.


Posting on social media, alongside photographs of the first signs which have been deployed on the organisation's Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole contract, James Poole contacts manager at R&W said,


"As part of our commitment to the “Stamp it out” campaign today we have deployed signs at our Glenferness site working for BCP Council.


Thanks to our supply chain partners INLAY MANAGEMENT SERVICES LIMITEDand Chapter 8 TM for supporting our BCP TSC framework


“We do not tolerate workforce abuse on this site”!


The signs, developed in partnership with Nuneaton signs are one of the the methods which Stamp it Out are conveying a zero tolerance message towards abuse of those who work on the public highway.


Speaking about the implementation on the project, Kevin Robinson, Project Director for Stamp it Out said,


"What can I can apart from thank you to the dedicated individuals at both R&W and Octavius who have taken the ball and truly run with it with regards to the signs."


"To see the programme being truly taken to heart by some of our own and indeed driven by the supply chain is truly humbling as we strive to make the conditions under which those who work on our public highways better day on day is something I can only applaud."
