In efforts to further raise the profile of the Stamp It Out campaign, and raise awareness of roadworker abuse Nuneaton Signs, along with Safer Highways and Acklea have designed a vehicle graphic.
The Stamp It Out taskforce have been working to ensure the brand of the campaign is consistent and eye catching, working closely with industry leaders to ensure that the message of the campaign is clear and consistent.
‘We do not tolerate abuse’, being a clear and concise message. The taskforce have discussed what can be done to ensure that the campaign is well recognised and publicised, first came the logo, then the signage, then VMS signs, but what was next?
Andy Dougan, Project Manager for Acklea, suggested that he would like to put the Stamp It Out design on the bonnet of his vehicles, to further raise awareness enroute to sites, as well as whilst the vehicles are being used on road works.
So to the drawing board we went! Several designs were put together by the graphics team at Nuneaton Signs, in effort to encompass all of the key defining factors of the stamp it out campaign.
There was much deliberation between Kevin Robinson, Chief Executive for Safer Highways, Holly Hunter, Head of Social Value and Marketing for Nuneaton Signs, and Andy Dougan. After many amendments and improvements – a design was born.
The design features the iconic Stamp It Out red over the bonnet, with the logo centre and proud. The design colour then fades in contra vision style to expose the colour of the vehicle underneath. From there, the sides of the vehicle begin with the contra vision fade, which grows into a solid grey, leading to a message on the door, with the contractor logo, the message ‘proud to support’ and the Stamp It Out logo.
The vehicle design is eye catching and displays the Stamp It Out message whilst also supporting the branding of the contractor in the design.
The vehicle branding is to be available in a front and side cabin wrap, bonnet only option and also a rear bumper sticker option. To ensure that any contractor is able to display the stamp it out message on their vehicle liveries.
Stamp It Out is a campaign driven by industry, to tackle and overcome issues that no roadworker should experience.
